The Beanie Babies were a staple in the 90’s. Every millennial had at least one. One of the most sought-after Beanie Babies is the 1997 Princess Diana bear. This bear can be purchased on eBay for $500,000. This bear is listed on eBay for a staggering $500,000. While most Beanie Babies aren’t as lucrative, some can bring in some serious cash.
However, it is important to note that Beanies must adhere to certain conditions in order for them be of higher value. It is better if it was made earlier. Video game consoles
While some consoles are more rare and vintage than others, you can still make some serious money with older consoles. Although the Nintendo Wii was discontinued in 2017, they can still be purchased online at PS50 and above. Add any games and you could make up to PS100 It’s not bad at all. The Nintendo DS is a familiar name to millennials. These are still available, but older models may be able to land you an additional PS70 in your bank accounts.
An older console, like the Atari 2600 console, could cost you nearly PS1,000. Pre-owned Nintendo 64 consoles can also be purchased for a very reasonable PS500. This is a great deal for a gaming console you haven’t used for 15 years.
Polly Pocket
Polly Pocket is a classic toy that millennials will treasure fondly. These tiny dolls, which were small enough to fit in a pocket, provided hours of entertainment and have enjoyed a rise in value over the years. The dolls’ size has been steadily increasing since Mattel, a gaming company bought Mattel in 1998.

Comics
Old comic books are a favorite in the world of collectors’ items. They can be sold for life-changing sums. In 2011, the first issue of Action Comics was sold for a staggering $2,161,000. It featured Superman, the renowned superhero. This is nearly PS1.6 million.
While most comics will not make you millionaire, there are many collectors who are eager to grab particular comic books. One of these comic books could be yours! Love Money lists a number of comics that you might own. They range from PS229 up to PS1,500.

Pokemon cards
Pokemon cards remain the most popular and well-known brand of cards. People are willing to spend big money for rare cards and specific cards to complete their collections. These cards may be hundreds in the case of millennials.
A complete set of cards can fetch hundreds of pounds. Rare cards, especially those with holographic or gold-coated designs, can fetch even higher prices. A rare holographic Pokemon card, in perfect condition, was sold for $45,100, which is PS32,923 as of December 2020. Other cards can fetch anywhere from PS50 up to PS15,000. You could be selling vintage lunchboxes for well over PS100. You don’t have to sell them in mint condition to make a good profit.

Harry Potter books
Every household has at least one copy of Harry Potter. The first book in the Harry Potter series, The Philosopher’s Stone, is by far the most valuable.

Other books in the critically-acclaimed series can be worth as high as PS10,000. The value of some of the less important books can still be worth as high as PS250. Magazines
Everybody has read and bought magazines at least once in their lifetime. You may even have kept a few over the years. You may be a fan of the singer or celebrity on the cover. Or you might even collect every issue of the magazine. Vogue and Life magazines from early times often sell for PS20-30 per copy. This is a significant mark-up over the PS1 and PS2 they were most likely purchased for.
The first issue of Playboy featuring Marylin Monroe as the cover is rare and very valuable. Nostomania estimates that this magazine could be worth as much as $635,000 (PS462,035). It’s unlikely that you own this magazine but it shows how much collectors will spend to get the right magazine.

This item is not restricted to millennials. It is possible that the commemorative royal wedding cup you purchased decades ago might have been sitting in your attic collecting dust, but it could be worth a substantial sum of money. Collectors from all corners of the world are interested in your royal trinkets and are passionate about the royal family.
A souvenir plate, plate, mug, brooch, or brooch could be valuable. You may not make many from souvenir memorabilia. Beanie Babies, as we have already mentioned, are highly collectible. The same applies to the 2000 release of the Teenie Beanie Boos collection. Although they aren’t as valuable individually, if you have more than one, you might be able to get an additional PS325 into your bank account.
In 2013, the Happy Meals were taken over by the Despicable Me minions. There were 12 minions to collect and the latest sales averaged around PS25 per minon. The entire collection is worth around PS300 if you have it all!
Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards
All millennials are familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh! The playground was adorned with cards. Trading cards were a popular game among children in the 2000s, and collectors still want them.
Like many other items on the list, their value depends on their condition, their date of printing, and their rarity. While most cards sell for between PS5 and PS25, if there are a lot of them you can easily make some money for your rainy day fund.
