Friends of the Elderly
Friends of the Elderly offers grants to seniors living in England or Wales with low incomes. There are three types of grants they offer: financial support, digital connection, home essentials and digital connectivity. If you are over the age of 65, reside in England or Wales, have a low-income and less than PS4000 saved, and are not a resident in a residential care facility, you can apply for a grant. You must apply through a referring agency, such as Citizens Advice or Local Care Teams.
Jordison and Hossell Animal Welfare Charity
Pet owners on low incomes and receiving pensions or benefits will receive one-off grants of no more that PS250. Pet owners with small animals cannot pay their bills can apply for grants. Pet owners can request grants via email or mail.

Wood Green The Animals Charity

The Harpur Trust
Harpur Trust offers an Adult Education Scheme that improves the financial and quality of life for those with low incomes. The applicants must be permanent residents of Bedford and have a low-income, plan to return to work or change careers after being out of school for five years. Metcalfe Smith Trust
Individuals with long-term illnesses or mental disabilities can be granted grants by the Metcalf Smith Trust. Leeds residents are eligible for grants of up to PS250. You can apply for grants to cover convalescent/respite, household and equipment needs, or any other expenses that people with disabilities may incur. The website allows you to apply, but you will need to attach a letter from a school, charity, or voluntary organization.
The Chapel Allerton and Potternewton Relief-in-Need Charity
One-off grants are provided by the Potternewton Relief in-Need Charity and Chapel Allerton Relief-in-Need Charity for people who live within the boundaries of Chapeltown, Chapel Allerton, and Potternewton, Leeds. They can provide white goods up to the same amount and grants are limited to PS200. Individuals are not eligible to apply, but Chapeltown Citizens Advice or other agencies can help.
